You want to know how old the blade breakers are or what their names really mean? Well, I'm Yahmina Pradia on this channel and we counting down 62 facts about Beyblade. And a little warning this video contains spoilers from the manga and anime so let's continue.

  1. The manga was published on Coro Coro Comics in 1999 through 2004 with 14 volumes.
  2. The tv series aired in Japan TV Tokyo and on Toon Disney in the US with 3 seasons.
  3. The anime was originally called Bakuten Shoot Beyblade and it was cut short into just Beyblade
  4. Ray had cat-like golden eyes but it was changed to copper in V-Force and his eyes were back to golden in G-Revolution 'cause he seems to be more "cat-ish" than in season 1.
  5. In Japan, Tyson is 10 years in most media in Japan, with the anime aging him up a year each season.
  6. Tyson is the only character to appear in every episode.
  7. The Bladebreakers features a team of bladers.
  8. A female counterpart to Tyson and Kai made an appearance in the two-part manga Beyblade Battle Saint Lolita.
  9. Tyson was 12 years old and his birthday was in the seventh episode thirteen candles.
  10. Tyson's Japanese name Takao is named after Takao Aoki, the creator of the Beyblade manga series. Cool!
  11. It has been demonstrated a few times that Kenny has a crush on Emily, which she may or may not be aware of.
  12. Ray's height is 5 feet and 2 inches tall. I'm that same height too!
  13. Mariah's mouth curves looks very cat-like way so does Max.
  14. Max's blonde hair and blue eyes are based on the common stereotype of westerners as portrayed in Japan.
  15. Max's most favorite thing to is drizzling mustard on noodles and forcing this habit to other people. Uh Max that's pretty gross!
  16. Max's height is 4 feet and 6 inches tall.
  17. Both Max's and Kenny's voice in the English dub is deeper in G-Revolution due to the voice actors experiencing  puberty. 
  18. Kenny was the shortest and the youngest of the Bladebreakers, being at 4 feet and 2 inches tall.
  19. Alex Hood, voice actor for Kenny in the English dub, stated that Kenny's personality is similar to himself in real life. Man, I wish that happened to me
  20. Tyson is voiced by Marlowe Gardiner-Heslin in the English dub
  21. Tyson is the only member of the Bladebreakers who has a sibling which is Hiro.
  22. Ray and the White Tigers knew each other since childhood. Aww!
  23. Kai shares similarites to Karura in Shogun Steel, they both wear blue face paint, white scarves and baggy pants. He's even a tribute of Kai.
  24. Baihu Xiao, a DNA Blader is a Shogun Steel counterpart of Ray, except that he doesn't wear a headband like Ray does.
  25. In every new season, Ray has lost his first match.
  26. Ray is the only member of the BBA team to never have a parental figure shown. This does not include his uncle in the anime.
  27. Ray had a crush on a actress of the celebrity team in episode 22. Don't be shy Ray!
  28. In the manga Ray appeared in volume 2 sleeping.
  29. Ray also eats and sleeps alot in the manga. Stop being so lazy dude!
  30. The Bladebreakers became mature through out the 3 seasons from the age of 12 to almost 16 years old. They grow up so fast!

  32. Max was 13 years old but was later changed to 10. What!?
  33. Captain Arrow from Beyblade: Shogun Steel is based on Tyson.
  34. The animation studio for the show was Nelvana which animated Strawberry Shortcake: Housewarming Surprise and so much more kids shows.
  35. The Saint Shields have members that is a little kid, two teenage boys and one teenage girl.
  36. Mariah is the first female blader to appear in the main storyline, though not the franchise as female bladers appeared in Beyblade Jisedai Begoma Battle Beyblade before her.
  37. Beyblade V-Force and G-Revlution had deleted scenes when Hilary punches Tyson and Tyson trying on dresses. Come on Nevana!
  38. Dachi is 10 years old in G-Revolution, making him the youngest member. Tyson, Kenny, Hilary and MAx in the Japanese version are 12 at this point while Kai and Rei are 14.
  39. Daichi seems reminiscent to that of a monkey, such as the white tiger team are reminiscent to cats (neko-jins). At the start of G-Revolution, Tyson's main insult towards Daichi is calling "Monkey Boy".
  40. In the manga of G-Revolution, Daichi becomes the new DJ.
  41. Tyson has a lot of fans in his school as shown in Beyblade: V-Force.
  42. Daichi seems to like food as much as Tyson does.
  43. Tyson himself is one of a number of video game characters from the 90's era who was loosely based on Red from the Pokémon games.
