Dub Casting[]

Weeks before Bang Zoom! Entertainment announced that they would be dubbing the anime, they could not decide if they wanted to bring the original show's cast back or hire their in-house voice actors. Just after a few days, ADR Director, Alex von David, decided to call Rob Paulsen to ask him if he wanted to dub Yakko for the anime adaptation. After a few talks, Rob accepted the offer. Prior to the phone call, Rob Paulsen said that he enjoyed watching the anime. One day at Bang Zoom HQ, in Burbank, Rob Paulsen showed up at the studio by himself to have a chat with its staff. Before he went to the recording booth, his fellow Animaniacs colleagues, Jess Harnell, Tress MacNeille and Maurice LaMarche, showed up as uninvited guests. They were greeted by surprised, but warm welcomes from the staff and voice actors alike. When Bang Zoom finally made the dubbing announcement, they highlighted the original cast's reprisal of their characters, much to the delight of many fans.
