Pop'n Quest: The Search for Pop'n Crystal is an 1 hour spin-off short film to Pop'n Tunes based on the adventure from Pop'n Music 20 Fantasia, Pop'n Quest, and is shown before an animated feature Chochen TwinBee. It was released / distributed by Warner Bros. Japan in Japan in September 18, 2015.

The only anime movie is presented in CinemaScope 2:35:1 ratio; as in-name only "Pop'n Scope".

The Opening Overture is "Twinkling" from Pop'n Music Lapistoria, which is sung by Mimi and Nyami, in the opening sequence. (even through it is not eurobeat) The end credits music consists of two of Pop'n Fantasia Songs: "Twinkle Wonderland" and "And So, The World Was Filled With Music (the song with the genre Epilogue).

At the beginning of the short film, the unusual variation of the Warner Bros. Japan logo is the Warner Bros. Family Entertainment logo (with Bugs Bunny in it) because it's a kid-friendly animated film.

At the end of the short film, an intermission clip to Chochen TwinBee has been shown before the credits roll and featured Nyami and Mimi, ala the theatrical screening of Disney's The Prince and The Pauper (1990). Even the backing track is Konami Morning Music (from TwinBee Paradise 3 Soundtrack Selection).

This is also available in the DVD of Pop’n Tunes Vol. 19 as one of bonus features (with an intermission clip at the end exclusively included).
