Sid is a male German Shepherd that drink demon blood and grew to about ten feet. His first and only appearance to date is Scooby-Doo! Annihilation and is technically the main villain of the book. Despite his one-shot appearance, Sid is one of the more popular characters in the series.
History[]
In Scooby-Doo! Annihilation, Sid is owned by Katrina Weatherly's daughter Miranda Weatherly, who punishes Shaggy Rogers to clean Sid's cage, whom Shaggy dislikes. to get back at Miranda for Shaggy, Frederick "Fred" Jones feeds Sid some demon blood. But after a while, he grows to an enormous size and starts rampaging through the school. Shaggy drinks some demon blood himself. Shaggy drinks some demon blood himself, so that he can grow to Sid's size and do battle with him. However, Sid is about to finish Shaggy off, until they both return to their norma sizes. It turns out that the expiration date on the demon blood has passed, resulting in the magic wearing off. As a present, Sid is given to Shaggy, much to Scooby's dismay. In the end, it is heavily implied that Sid drink some more demon blood from a new can.
Scooby-Doo! Toyota Unleashed[]
Sid is briefly mentioned in Scooby-Doo! Toyota Unleashed. It was when Alvin Seville, Simon Seville, and Brittany Miller interview Shaggy, who retells the events of Scooby-Doo! Annihilation.
