Tamagotchi! VS Cocotama (たまごっち! VS ここたま) is a crossover anime film between Tamagotchi and Cocotama franchises produced by Bandai and OLM, Inc. and premiered in theaters on 10 September 2020. It was show alongside another prequel film, Buddy Go! Cocotama: Episode ZERO.
Lovelitchi/Lovelin was captured by Spacy Brothers who been brainwashed by two criminal Cocotamas, Gun and Blade who came from Earth by disguise themselves as TamaPtchi and ADtchi to blackmail Mametchi to come to Dangerous Town or Lovelitchi would die. To confront the threat of Gun and Blade, Mametchi was forced to create the newest Forwarding Machine with the help of Chamametchi and his friends and bought Luckytama, Melory and Tepple from Earth to Tamagotchi Planet to stop two of them. The entire event would eventually lead to the event of Tamagotchi! Unova Friends, which focused Ginjirotchi and his friends move on with their daily lives.
As for Cocotama series, the entire event would eventually lead to the event of Buddy Go! Cocotama, which focused Tepple has now formed an friendship with newest Legendary Cocotama Contractor named Naomi Aizaki by complete the Cocotama Street (Tamagotchi Planet's Dream Town counterpart) and collect the legend of the Tama Hearts from another planet who failing on Earth to stop the Eggification who backed up the Minus Power which is causing Cocotamas can't came out from egg and Cocotamas unable went to the egg for hide, with the help of her predecessors and Violin along with her partner named Michelle Florian who is genius violinist and transfer student from America to stop the egg curse before too late.

As for Tamagotchi! characters, the first appeared of Maskutchi and Ginjirotchi who replace Memetchi and Kuchipatchi as a main character in this crossover movie along with Majoritchi, Fairytchi and Pochitchi.
Gun, Blade and RoboLovelitchi is the only movie exclusive characters and never appear at TV series.
Final appearance of Lovelitchi's Tama-Friends Tama Heart outfit before revert back to Lovelitchi's original outfit at near the end of movie. However, her left ear of pink beaded ear accessories was replace by one of blue ribbon and her right ear of pink beaded ear accessories with ancient like Tama Hearts was still remain.
It is unknown how Candy Pakupaku unable return to future.
This crossover movie along with Buddy Go! Cocotama: Episode ZERO will serve as prequel to Buddy Go! Cocotama and Tamagotchi! Unova Friends.
